The D.A.R.E. program into Bradley County Schools was reintroduced on Friday, February 13, 2015. The historical event was held at Parkview Elementary School on Minnis Rd. when Sheriff Eric Watson highlighted the purpose of this program.
“Teaching students good decision-making skills to help them lead safe and healthy lives”
“A world in which students everywhere are empowered to respect others and choose to lead lives free from violence, substance abuse, and other dangerous behaviors.”
A Vital Mission…to Fulfill a Vision
SHERIFF WATSON’S D.A.R.E. STATEMENT
“As I sought office of Sheriff, I had parents ask me repeatedly about returning the D.A.R.E. program to their children’s school. I’m happy to say this has been done, and I can see this is beneficial to the children in Bradley County.”
