Patrol Deputy

All Patrol Deputies with Bradley County Sheriff’s Office are certified through the Peace Officers Standards and Training Commission.   

​

Patrol Deputies are responsible for the peacekeeping, and the protection of the people and property within Bradley County. They enforce the criminal and traffic laws of the State of Tennessee, are required to make court appearances, produce accurate and timely investigations and reporting of incidents, and are required to be academy trained and certified.

​

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older

  • Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D.

  • Must not have been convicted of domestic violence or a felony crime

  • Experience preferred but not required

 

Wages & Benefits

  • $43,000 starting salary

  • ​$43,600 with a Associate's Degree​

  • $44,200 with a Bachelor's Degree

  • $44,500 with a Master's Degree

  • State TCRS Hybrid retirement plan
